Dei
tanti Christmas carols che conosco, questo
"The twelve days of Xmas" è
uno dei miei preferiti. Ha la struttura del tormentone e
potrebbe durare all'infinito, così, senza capo né coda.
Eppure, dietro l'apparente insensatezza delle parole, è
nascosto un complesso simbolismo religioso,
riconducibile ad un ben preciso periodo della storia
